Lab & Probiotics

Manufacture of medical grade probiotics and lactobacillus in pellets.

FREEZING FOR CONSERVATION

Liquid nitrogen plays an important role in the controlled rate freezing and cryogenic conservation of human cells. You can use the cold energy and low temperature of liquid nitrogen for fast freezing, with minimal cell damage. Combined with appropriate cryoprotectants, the temperature of liquid nitrogen (-195,8°C) ensures optimum conservation of tissues and cells with a maximum survival rate after thawing.

PELLETS

Cultures or probiotics for inoculation are often distributed under the form of deep-frozen pellets. Dedicated pelletizers use liquid nitrogen immersion for high speed production of droplets of these cultures.

Dohmeyer’s pelletizers excel because of their low specific consumption of liquid nitrogen, hygienic design, clean-in-place procedures, and suitability for an HACCP preventive approach to food safety and pharmaceutical safety.
