Phlegmatisation

Recycling of batteries and air bags.

CHEMICAL REACTIVITY

Some chemicals are highly reactive or explosive at ambient temperature. Safe recycling of products containing these chemicals is of utmost concern. By cooling to cryogenic temperatures, such products are rendered relatively inert or desensitised.

SHEARING AND CRUSHING

Afterwards they can be sheared or shredded. The materials can be separated and recycled. Typical examples can be found in recycling of batteries and of the trigger component of air bags.

SNOW HORN

INDUSTRIAL GRADE
The vacuum insulated snow horn, is a high efficient device making in situ dry ice snow at -78°C  / -109 F.

IMMERSION BATH

Immersion bath freezers consist of a liquid nitrogen (LIN) bath, in which you can rapidly freeze products to very low temperatures by direct immersion in the cryogenic liquid at atmospheric pressure.
